French edition of the UK 1966 book of this internally well know female american art critic, who was among the first writers to recognize the de-materialization at work in conceptual art and was an early champion of feminist art. This book treat of the different ways of developpement of "pop art" in New York, England, California, in Europe & Canada. All the book is embellished by a number of illustrations. Very well done and one of the first on the subject in french language.
